Le Hong Nhung possesses over a decade of professional experience in various research and data analytics roles, including conducting global systematic reviews and data compilation for conservation programs. Her work spans economic development and policy-related projects, demonstrating a solid foundation in the economic aspects of multi-sector disciplines.
Nhung's academic background includes an Executive Master's degree in Development Policies and Practices from The Graduate Institute Geneva, 2018, a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from the Foreign Trade University, 2013. She was also a professional fellow of by Water Institute, Tulane University, 2023.
Nhung has extensive experience working in the public sector, collaborating with international organizations such as WWF, USAID, and government agencies. This experience has equipped her with a robust understanding of public sector dynamics on both national and international levels. Additionally, she has worked as a consultant for various NGOs and projects, including those focused on promoting evidence-based gap maps and data sharing mechanisms in different sectors, such as public health, migration, climate change, and conservation.
Some of Nhung's recent professional roles include serving as a Research Consultant for the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), conducting global systematic reviews for impact evaluations (2022-present). She has also worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer at the Mekong Institute, contributing to updating and operationalizing the MEL system (2022-2023). Furthermore, Nhung has undertaken consultancy work for designing a Monitoring and Evaluation System for the Scaling up Sustainable Production and Trade of Vietnamese Pepper project at IDH (2022-2023).
